WELCOME TO NOR CAL WILDCATS HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS SEASON
Welcome back for another year of Wildcat basketball, we are looking forward to another fun and exciting season! We will be offering teams as follows:
16U and 17U Regional teams – Regional teams will play out of area showcase events in addition to local tournaments.
The emphasis of our program is to improve the skills of all our High School athletes. Playing games is important, and certainly fun but real results come from the work done in the gym when nobody is in the stands. As such, we are excited to announce we have partnered with Jeremy Russotti to incorporate his “1% Club” (www.1percentclub.org) skill development training program into every one of our workouts! This is an incredible opportunity for all of our players to work with certified trainers to improve their skills. No other AAU Club can offer this to their players. Players will experience tremendous improvement in their basketball skills by being part of Nor Cal Wildcats Elite High School program.
1% skill training and Tryouts will take place at Dixon High School, 555 College Way in the large gym unless noted. Please wear a light/dark reversible jersey. All players must bring a signed tryout waiver form (found online under “Forms” tab) to participate.
Before workouts, you will need to register with AAU. Details on how to do this are found under the tab “Get your AAU Card” at norcalwildcats.com. Please give a copy of your card to the coach at your first tryout session.
When tryouts are over, coaches will notify all players within a day or two regarding rosters.

Sunday, March 9, 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. - Holmes Junior High School, 1220 Drexel Drive, Davis, CA
Wednesday, March 12, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. - Holmes Junior High School, 1220 Drexel Drive, Davis, CA

At the parent meeting, please bring the following completed forms (found online under the “Forms” tab).
Team Registration/Medical Release form
Uniform Order form
Parent/Player Code of Conduct form
Copy of birth certificate.
Also, the following fees are due at the parent meeting:
Registration of $615 (payable either by check payable to “Norcal Wildcats” or online via credit card)
Uniform Spirit Pack (game uniform, shooting shirt, and back pack) fee is $140.
Tournament Fees – (TBD) – Based on final tournament schedule.
Tournament Fees covers the Spring and Summer April, May, and July tournament schedule season. Each team will participate in a minimum of 7 tournaments.
Travel Team expenses, (Hotel, airfare, etc.) are additional expenditures
After the parent meeting, you will also need to register with our club. This is done online on our website under the tab “Register online”. This allows you access to the restricted (non-public) portion of your team webpage, and enables the system to contact you when your team’s practice and game times are posted or changed. You can also pay your registration fees online as part of the registration process.
The season will run from March through July, with no tournaments during June (due to school team practices). Tournaments average twice a month, including Memorial Day Weekend. Always check the web calendar for updates to your team’s schedule.
