Nor Cal Wildcats Basketball Club is a non-profit, competitive basketball program for boys, ages 5-14.  We offer a travelling AAU teams from 3rd to 8th grade. The traveling teams compete in AAU tournaments on the weekend & practice twice per week. Our effort is directed toward connecting local youth with the same fundamentals and philosophies that will be taught at the high school level. Your child will be taught by experienced and knowledgeable coaches and trained by former college and high school players, many from Davis.

Our program, aligned with the principals established at Davis Senior High School, aims to provide our players with the best chance to make their respective high school basketball team. Wildcats does not guarantee a spot for your child on the high school team but our goal is to give them enough tools to prepare them for the opportunity.

The most recent additions to our club are Junior Wildcats and the Wildcats Developmental League (WDL), which specialize in the development of basic basketball skills for children in Grades K-6.  The mission of both programs is to introduce young athletes to the proper skills and technique of basketball while helping to develop a passion for the game, all in a fun, supportive and well-organized structure.  Please note that at this time, we are not offering Junior Wildcats or WDL.

Wildcats is run by dedicated volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors hires the Financial Administrator who carries out the financial duties of the club.

Founded in 2000 by long-time Davis resident Bob Silva, Wildcats started out with one team.  Within a few years, it had ten teams.  Our 300+ players represent the communities of Davis, Dixon, Winters, Woodland, Sacramento and Vacaville.  As a non-profit organization, Wildcats relies on annual fundraising efforts to keep our registration fees as low as possible; to offset administrative, facilities, equipment and tournament costs; and to provide scholarships to layers in financial need.
